All Amway Business Owners purchase products directly from Amway.
Bonuses will be paid directly to the Amway Business Owner who has earned the bonus. Bonus payments will be paid by bank transfers.
PV/BV transfers will not be available.

Starter Kit Purchase
The Online registration can be done by using the website www.amway.at, where the applicant, together with the sponsor, completes the registration form. An Amway Business Owner in Austria needs a valid trade licence.
All new applicants in Austria start in Prospect status. There is no need to buy a start kit and send in a signed registration form for them.
As a Prospect you can order products for personal use only and sponsor other Prospects. Please note that a Prospect has to renew his business every year. A Prospect is not allowed to receive bonus payments.
To become an ABO the Prospect needs to send in a copy of his trade licence and signed contract (downloadable on Amway Online).
All literature materials including offline registration form for offline sponsoring can be downloaded for free via Amway Online.

Amway Business Owner (ABO)
This is the business builder, eligible to register other Prospects (they are eligible to become ABO by sending a copy of their trade licence and signed contract, downloadable on Amway Online), merchandise, receive Performance Volume Bonuses, Service Commissions and take advantage of all of the benefits of owning an Amway business.
Prospects will enjoy a variety of benefits such as products and services at the same price as ABOs. A Prospect will not merchandise or receive Performance Volume Bonuses and Service Commissions. A Prospect has to renew his/her business.
A status which allows European Amway Business Owners to sponsor and purchase products for personal consumption in other Marketing Advisor Markets (MAM) without maintaining a formal, legal presence there while maintaining the same benefits of the Sales and Marketing Plan as a multiple business. It does not provide for combining volumes between markets for purposes of bonus calculations.
Platinum Pin and above in any of the markets listed below. Diamond Pin in any existing Amway market that has multiple businesses in any of the markets participating in the program.
If you have a traditional Amway business and local address in one of the below countries (home market) you can have businesses in the remaining countries (marketing advisor countries) as a Marketing Advisor.

Establish a Second Business
International sponsoring is always an option and an excellent means of expanding your business while avoiding many of the costs and complexities associated with establishing a second business. Please note: For those markets where foreigners are able to establish a second business, they must be the international sponsor of their second business in another country.
Establishment of a second business involves complex business and legal issues. Amway Business Owners should always contact the affiliate and obtain the advice of a local attorney before attempting to establish a second business.
Amway Business Owners may establish a second business in Austria. The most common forms of businesses are: Sole Proprietorship, Partnership and Limited Liability Company. You should consult with a local attorney to identify the best business entity to accomplish your business goals. If you should wish to operate in a form other than a Sole Proprietorship, you should contact the affiliate to discuss Amway's policy concerning the formation of the business entity.
Recognition applies to natural persons only.
Any foreign citizen residing and working in Austria (except for EEA citizens), must obtain a Residence and Work Permit. If the foreigner intends to work as an employee, a Work Permit is also required. The timing needed to obtain a Residence Permit varies from individual to individual and an estimated time cannot be given.
NOTE: The number of Work Permits granted each year is limited.
The Austrian Consulate in your country of residence should be contacted in advance to obtain a general idea of the appropriate immigration requirements for your business purposes. Laws relating to visa requirements are constantly changing. Amway Business Owners must consult experts in the country to obtain advice on appropriate immigration requirements. Consulting an expert is also important, if you do not intend to reside there.
Amway Business Owner Registration Requirements
Austrian law requires a trade license to operate a business; a local address is a requirement to obtain the license. A local bank account and address is also required. Registration requirements include:
1. Trade Authority (fee depends on type of business entity). Completion time: One month.
2. Commercial Register (for limited liability companies only). Completion time: One to three months.
3. Financial Authorities (no fee required, but income tax in any case). Completion time: Immediate upon notice to competent tax office.
4. Social Security (no fee required, but monthly payment of approximately $150.00 US dollars). Completion time: Immediate upon presentation of the necessary documents.
Because of the above requirements, it is recommended to internationally sponsor.

Products may be returned under the Customer Satisfaction Guarantee policy. Every Amway Business Owner may return a product. They can receive a replacement or credit note.
