Jim Ayres, Managing Director of Amway North America, oversees all business operations for the North American affiliate of Amway including increasing brand awareness and new product launches. Ayres reports to Candace Matthews, Regional President of Americas, and serves on Amway’s Executive Staff comprised of cross-functional executive leaders focused on enhancing company culture, talent capabilities and global market needs.
Ayres has been with Amway for more than 35 years in research & development, project management, and as Director of Global R&D Regulatory Affairs. He was also Vice President of Global Quality Assurance and Technical Services.
Ayres is a board member of Mental Health Foundation of West Michigan, Literacy Center of West Michigan, US Dream Academy, and Kinzler Foundation.
He earned his BS in Biology/Biological Sciences from Grand Valley State University and an MBA from Davenport University.
