As Chief Financial Officer, Nick Thole oversees Amway’s global finance team, which includes accounting, financial planning and reporting, internal audit, treasury, tax and global financial shared services divisions. Thole reports directly to Amway CEO Milind Pant and serves on Amway’s Global Leadership Team, Amway’s key executive decision-making body focused on global strategy development and delivering meaningful ABO and customer experiences. He also serves on Amway’s Executive Staff comprised of top cross-functional executive leaders focused on enhancing company culture, talent capabilities and global market needs.
Previously, Thole served as the chief financial officer for the company’s Europe, India and Africa region. He also has held the roles of vice president of financial planning and analysis, and, most recently, vice president of internal audit. Thole joined Amway in 2008 as the manager of mergers and acquisitions.
Before joining Amway, Thole worked in capital markets, first as an investor relations consultant with small-cap New York Stock Exchange and NASDAQ-listed companies, and then as an investment banker at Oppenheimer & Co.
Thole received a bachelor’s degree from Northwestern University in journalism with a social science concentration in economics in 1996. In 2004, he earned an MBA in finance from the Broad School of Management at Michigan State University.
