Anouchah Sanei, Chief Innovation & Science Officer (CISO) who oversees the R&D of Amway, the global health and beauty company, revealed on a recent written interview with the Maeil Business Newspaper that Korean market continues to evolve thanks to the deep understanding and knowledge of Korean consumers and their willingness to accept new technologies.
The I&S group is an integrated research organization of Amway formed in May 2020 after reorganizing existing global R&D organizations, focusing on Center of Excellence in major fields, such as nutrition (health), beauty, and home-living segment.
CISO Sanei noted that Korean society is aging very rapidly, and that Koreans’ diets are also quickly becoming westernized. She said, “With the rapid aging of Korean society, it has become more important to consume balanced nutrients and have a regular lifestyle to extend a healthy life, rather than just extending lifespan. Regarding this point, well-rounded healthy diet including plant-based proteins as well as health functional foods are essential.”
CISO Sanei picked ‘Nutrilite Double X Multivitamin’ as one of the most essential health functional food products for Koreans. Nutrilite Double X Multivitamin contains not only vitamins and minerals, but also various plant nutrients, such as beta-carotene and niacin, necessary to keep our bodies healthy. We plan to expand personalized solutions in the future.”
