During the summit, the Amway Global Entrepreneurship Report and the magazine “Entreprendre & Innover” were presented during the Opening Ceremony.

More than 80 people, including a variety of members from the European Commission and the European Parliament attended the Opening Ceremony. On the second day, two young Amway Business Owners, Nadine and Bernard Nusshold-Gruber, shared their best-practices and experience as entrepreneurs with a secondary source of income. More than 50 students attended this workshop.

Lastly, ABO’s André Hamoir and Jean-Yves Godefroid organized a competition with 36 students, testing their sales skills by having them ‘sell’ XS™ Power Drink. Amway awarded the student with the best-selling skills with a cheque of €500 for developing his business idea.

The media and other participants also received a special issue of Entreprendre & Innover (E&I), a quarterly journal in Entrepreneurship and Innovation, which was dedicated to the topic of Hybrid Entrepreneurship and supported by Amway Europe. This publication is positioned as a platform to favor dialogue between researchers and practitioners and contained the results of AGER 2018, analyzed from the perspective of growing hybrid entrepreneurship trends, and the interview with Leszek Krecielewski, Managing Director Amway Europe, about the role of direct selling in new economic models.
