Stanford WELL for Life

Organization type: Research study funded through a $10 million unrestricted gift from the Amway Nutrilite Health Institute Wellness Fund
Specialty: First-of-its-kind research study analyzing how diet, lifestyle behaviors and environment can impact long-term wellness and contribute to healthy aging. Designed, conducted and analyzed by Stanford scientists WELL’s ultimate purpose is to make its discoveries and recommendations available to everyone to improve wellbeing in people and communities throughout the world. Involves about 32,000 adults from the USA, China, Taiwan, Singapore and Thailand, who shared biological samples and information about life factors that may influence their wellbeing.

The Botanical Safety Consortium (BSC) is a public-private partnership to improve botanical safety. BSC will provide scientific basis for integrating existing botanical safety & toxicity information with the latest toxicological tools.  This multi-partite, multi-stakeholder international effort brings together key scientific experts to enhance the botanical safety toolkit and bring clarity to botanical dietary ingredient assessments.

International Scientific Association of Probiotics and Prebiotics (ISAPP)

Advancing Scientific Excellence in probiotics, prebiotics, synbiotics, postbiotics and fermented food, ISAPP brings together global leading scientific experts and has shifted the paradigm for how probiotics and prebiotics are studied and understood. Industry Advisory Committee members of ISAPP are part of a collaborative, innovation-focused community that helps advance probiotic and prebiotic science globally.

American Herbal Products Association (AHPA)

US trade association and voice of the herbal and natural products industries. AHPA promotes the responsible and sustainable commerce of herbal products to ensure that consumers have informed access to a wide variety of safe herbal goods. ASEAN Alliance of Health Supplement Associations (AAHSA)
