ORLANDO, Fla. — Major League Pickleball‘s (MLP) 2026 regular season wrapped up at Amway MLP Orlando Tournament, the league’s title-sponsored finale held July 30–Aug. 2 at ESPN Wide World of Sports Complex. The event brought together 12 of the top teams ahead of the 2026 MLP Playoffs and highlighted pickleball’s continued growth as an accessible sport that supports active living and Amway’s commitment to advancing healthspan, the number of years spent healthy and living well.
For Amway, the sponsorship reflects a broader vision to help people around the world live better, more active lives grounded in science-backed nutrition, movement and community. Professional pickleball continues to gain momentum through increased attendance, sponsorship investment and fan engagement across the United States and internationally. At the same time, the sport’s accessibility, social nature and multigenerational appeal make it a powerful way to encourage healthy lifestyles.
Amway MLP Orlando opened with a youth pickleball event hosted alongside the YMCA of Central Florida. The event introduced local youth to the sport while encouraging healthy habits through movement, teamwork and community. Participants received pickleball paddles and Amway-branded gear and met Lil Squeezy, mascot of the Orlando Squeeze, and Blast, mascot of Amway’s XS™ energy drink brand.
The week also marked the debut of the MLP Regular Season MVP trophy, presented by Amway for the first time in league history, with Melodie Nakhle, Chief Marketing Officer at Amway, presenting the award on behalf of the company.
“Presenting the first-ever MLP Regular Season MVP trophy on behalf of Amway was a powerful reminder of what this partnership represents” said Nakhle. “Healthspan is built through everyday choices we make. From elite athletes competing at the highest level to children picking up a paddle for the first time at our YMCA event, this week demonstrated how movement, connection, and community can inspire healthier lives at any age.”
The sponsorship builds on Amway’s longstanding commitment to supporting health and wellbeing initiatives and strengthening communities where its employees and Amway Business Owners live and work. It also expands the company’s relationship with Orlando’s professional pickleball team, the Orlando Squeeze.
The success of Amway MLP Orlando Tournament reflects the continued growth of America’s fastest growing sport and its ability to bring people together through competition, movement and community. Replays and highlights from Amway MLP Orlando are available on Pickleball TV, Fox Sports Network and a recap video of the event can be viewed here.
