Amway Cares: Over 1,000 Employees Volunteer More Than 6,000 Hours During 2025 Week of Service

Amway, an entrepreneur-led health and wellbeing company, proudly concluded its fourth annual Amway Cares Week of Service, reinforcing its long-standing commitment to local community impact.

Held August 5–7, more than 1,000 Ada-based employees volunteered their time to support over 35 community partners throughout West Michigan. From farm fields to food pantries, playground builds to community parks, volunteers collectively contributed over 6,000 hours of service in just one week.

Amway teams supported a wide variety of initiatives focused on housing and food insecurity, fresh produce distribution, and safe environments for children to play and grow—all in service of a healthier, stronger West Michigan.

“The spirit of service is a direct reflection of Amway’s Founders’ Fundamentals and Values, and I am grateful for the opportunity to see Amway employees authentically demonstrate principles through their contribution to our Week of Service supporting our community,” said Michael Nelson, CEO of Amway.

“I am sincerely grateful to every employee for their commitment to our community, and to our amazing community partners who inspire us every day.”

One of the week’s highlights included the annual playground build, now in its 21st year, in partnership with Sinclair Recreation. Volunteers came together to create a dynamic play space and community park in collaboration with Kentwood Parks and Recreation Department, reinforcing Amway’s belief that shared spaces foster community connection and lifelong wellbeing.

This spirit of service extends far beyond West Michigan. In 2025 alone, Amway employees and Amway Business Owners have invested more than 25,000 volunteer hours globally, serving communities where they live and work around the world.
