In early November 2025, the Philippines faced back-to-back disasters as Typhoon Kalmaegi and Typhoon Fung-wong made landfall, bringing destructive winds, torrential rain, flash floods, and landslides. These storms triggered the evacuation of more than one million people and placed immense strain on emergency response efforts.
To help meet these urgent needs, Amway contributed $40,000 USD to the American Red Cross to provide shelter, food, and comfort to those affected.
This crisis followed another that occurred just weeks earlier. In mid-October, the country was struck by three earthquakes within five days, leaving infrastructure and communities severely compromised. These conditions only intensified the impact of the recent typhoons. In response to the earthquakes, Amway donated $15,000 USD to the American Red Cross to support critical relief operations and assist affected communities.
Amway recognizes that many of its Amway Business Owners (ABOs) and employees may reside in or have connections to the affected areas in the Philippines.
