ADA, MICH., USA (Aug. 4, 2021) – Amway, an entrepreneur-led health and wellness company, today announced François Renard as its new chief marketing officer reporting to Chief Executive Officer Milind Pant. Renard joins Amway from automaker Renault Group where he served as global chief marketing officer.
In his role, Renard is responsible for:
- Developing brands, products, and digital experiences that attract new customers to try Amway products, inspires loyalty, and empowers Amway Business Owners (ABOs) as they continue building customer relationships and drive sustained growth across Amway’s portfolio of brands.
- Leading a global team dedicated to creating customized online, mobile and social consumer experiences.
Renard has more than 25 years of global marketing experience nurturing 30 brands in multiple categories including nutrition and beauty. As global chief marketing officer at Renault Group, Renard led a global marketing and consumer insights team responsible for digital transformation, brand positioning and segmentation strategies. Renard also led an executive committee to transform and define the company’s purpose, centered on innovation and sustainability.
Renard began his marketing career as a senior brand manager on Unilever’s personal care team in Europe. While there, he established himself as a leader in the food, beverage, nutrition and hair care categories at Unilever Vietnam and Unilever China before taking on regional and global marketing leadership roles. In 2016, Unilever named Renard chief executive officer of its prestige beauty brand Kate Somerville.
