Why your home’s air can be up to five times more polluted than the air outside.

Air pollution may be worse in your home than outside. Why?

The air inside our homes can be up to five times more polluted than outside air, according to the US Environmental Protection Agency. Cooking, pet dander, fireplace or cigarette smoke, and paints and building supplies all create airborne contamination, so it makes sense.

And even the cleanest home can harbor airborne bacteria, allergens and, sometimes, viruses.

Most of this air pollution is not visible, but your body can feel its effects. In fact, according to the World Health Organization (WHO), microscopic particles that pass through your lungs and into your bloodstream can be a primary cause of health problems like asthma and allergies.

More than ever, we want to trust our homes’ air.

Today, many of us are spending more time at home. Work, school, clubs — more of our lives are happening where we live, surrounded by the people we love.

Basements have become gyms. That “extra bedroom” is now a playroom. Large closets are now small offices. At their best, these spaces make us feel calm, confident and cared for. But they can also be home to airborne contamination in a space where your family’s health and safety should be top priority.

A compact solution to a large problem.

Indoor air pollution can’t be eliminated, but you can still take steps to ensure you and your family breathe cleaner air. What’s needed is a room air purifier designed specifically for the smaller spaces we’re using in so many ways.

That’s why the Atmosphere Mini™ Air Treatment System is such a breakthrough.

The Atmosphere Mini™ system features the same science as Atmosphere’s larger room air purification system, engineered for smaller spaces up to 19 square meters. Like the larger system, the Atmosphere Mini™ system filters over 300 airborne contaminants, removing 99.9% of particles as small as 0.0024 microns (that’s 1/40th the thickness of a human hair) from air passing through the unit.

A state-of-the-art, 3-in-1 filtration system makes it possible:

  • First, a pre-filter captures larger particles, such as dust and hair.
  • Then a carbon filter captures invisible gasses, including cooking odors, formaldehyde, ozone and total volatile organic compounds (TVOCs).
  • Lastly, a High Efficiency Particulate Air (HEPA) Filter removes the microscopic particles, such as viruses, bacteria and allergens, from air passing through the filter.

The confidence that comes with control.

The benefits of clean air can be more than physical. Reducing indoor air pollution promotes focus and productivity. There’s also the confidence that comes with knowing you’re doing more to safeguard your family’s well-being.

With that in mind, the Atmosphere Mini™ system also features the easy-to-use Atmosphere™ Connect mobile app. Use it to monitor indoor room and outdoor air quality, adjust settings, and order replacement filters, even when you’re not home.

It’s also worth noting that the Atmosphere Mini™ Air Treatment System has received certification from a variety of organizations, including the Association of Home Appliances Manufacturers (AHAM), along with earning the Allergy UK Seal of Approval.

And when you think about it, at a time when health and home are more important than ever, cleaner air inside our homes is something we can all approve of.
