Addie VanderWeide

Addie VanderWeide recently graduated from Hope College with a degree in business. As captain of the women’s volleyball team, she led the program to consecutive NCAA Division III national championship appearances.

Her collegiate career included numerous honors: AVCA Division III Co-Player of the Year, AVCA All-America First Team, AVCA All-Region First Team and Michigan Intercollegiate Athletic Association Most Valuable Player.

Addie credits sports for shaping her leadership, adaptability and drive. She recently completed a marketing and operations internship with Indie Consulting in New York City, working closely with the CEO and senior leadership on projects in operations, human resources and marketing. The role provided hands-on experience in strategic planning, process improvement and collaborative execution.

She is committed to philanthropy, supporting Helen DeVos Children’s Hospital and pediatric health care initiatives in West Michigan. Addie also contributes to SpringGR — a DeVos family initiative in Grand Rapids that helps underserved entrepreneurs develop the skills and resources to start and grow businesses. Her generosity extends globally through charity: water, including a trip to Malawi to support its mission.

Addie lives in New York City.
