Blake Shue

Blake Shue is an investor and engaged in his family’s leadership of DeVos family-owned businesses, including Wakestream Holdings.  His investment focus includes acquiring and operating multifamily real estate, as well as efforts connected to health, nutrition and consumer packaged goods.

Previously, Blake worked in the commercial real estate practice at Deutsche Bank in its New York City office.  He also has served as a financial analyst at Cushman & Wakefield, the world’s largest commercial real estate services firm.

Blake and his wife, Hannah Shue, support charities and initiatives that help others attain the resources needed to reach their full potential and sustain long-term vitality.  For example, they are part of a small community called The Well that funds overhead costs and covers credit card fees for charity: water so the nonprofit can allow 100% of others’ donations to go directly to fund clean water projects.

Their passion for entrepreneurship led them to partner with their family and launch SpringGR, an initiative in Grand Rapids, Michigan, that empowers underserved entrepreneurs to develop the necessary skills to start and scale their businesses.  In addition, Blake and Hannah have developed a scholarship at their alma mater – Wake Forest University – for first-generation students interested in entrepreneurship.

Blake earned a bachelor’s degree in communication and sociology from Wake Forest University.  He also studied at the London School of Economics.

He and Hannah live in Colorado, USA.
