About Cassandra DeVos Botha

Cassandra DeVos Botha is a philanthropist and engaged in her family’s leadership of DeVos family-owned businesses, including DP Fox and Wakestream Holdings.

Previously, Cassandra served as an international sponsorship and marketing manager at Law Business Research and as a business development manager at Innis Law Group. She earned her law degree at Michigan State University’s College of Law, in addition to a master’s degree in legal doctrine and analysis. She graduated magna cum laude with a bachelor’s degree in business administration from Northwood University.

In 2014, Cassandra and her sister, Sydney, founded Nana’s Run, a 5k race in Grand Rapids, Michigan, to support ALS patients and help raise awareness about the disease. Nana’s Run was created to honor the life and legacy of Cassandra and Sydney’s grandmother, Char “Nana” VanderLaan, who battled ALS. In total, the race raised more than $2.25 million over eight years, and proceeds supported patients, caregivers and ongoing ALS research in West Michigan.

Cassandra also supports charities and initiatives that focus on mental health and wellbeing, suicide prevention and educational opportunities for women and girls to flourish.

Cassandra and her husband, Quin, reside in Florida.
