Cheri DeVos

Cheri DeVos is the founder and owner of Baton Collective, a commercial real estate estate and business management company focused on engaging the local community, supporting neighborhoods, and creating a positive place for both residents and visitors of the greater Grand Rapids, Michigan area. The company has a diverse portfolio that includes retail, restaurant, commercial, and office real estate. Its most recent project has been the redevelopment of the Ada Village. Cheri also is the founder of Michigan Sports Academies, which provides club sports programming for West Michigan youth in volleyball, basketball, and soccer. Otter Air Services is the most recent addition to the Baton Collective portfolio, which offers concierge charter air travel services.

In addition, Cheri is a member of the board of directors at her family business, RDV Corporation.

Previously, Cheri served as the Vice President of Corporate Affairs and Director of Health and Beauty Marketing for Amway, the world’s largest direct selling company. She was also an Amway board member for 20 years. Cheri has served as the chair of the Orlando Magic Youth Foundation and as executive vice chair of RDV Sports and the governing board of the Orlando Magic NBA basketball team.

Cheri established the CDV5 Foundation with her family as a tool to support many causes and organizations. Its primary mission has been to support children and families through education, health, and wellness initiatives in Greater Grand Rapids and select communities around the world.

As a Hope College alumnus, Cheri is a past member of the Hope College Board of Trustees and Hope College Business Advisory Council.

Cheri resides in West Michigan and is the proud mother of five children – Hannah VanderWeide Shue, Katie VanderWeide Renker, Benjamin VanderWeide, Jessa VanderWeide, and Addie VanderWeide.
