In addition to serving on the franchise’s board of directors, he serves alongside other DeVos family members on the RDV Board of Directors.
Cole has built a diverse background in the sports industry largely through his involvement with several Michigan-based franchises. He played a key role in launching the Grand Rapids Rise of Major League Volleyball, which began play in 2024, and AC Grand Rapids, a professional soccer team set to join MLS NEXT Pro in 2027. Additionally, he is part of the ownership group of the Texas Ranchers, a Major League Pickleball team based in Austin.
Cole also serves as director of strategic investments at DP Fox Ventures, a diversified business group with interests in real estate, fashion, transportation, sports and entertainment. He previously held business and management roles at Stats Perform, a global leader in sports data and analytics.
Deeply committed to community service, Cole serves on the board of the Grand Rapids Griffins Youth Foundation, which promotes academic achievement, healthy lifestyles and community engagement by making ice sports more accessible to youth in West Michigan.
Cole supports organizations focused on children’s health and wellness. This includes Helen DeVos Children’s Hospital and Hope Speaks International. In addition, he supports his alma mater, Hope College in Holland, Michigan, through finish-line scholarships that help students nearing graduation stay on track.
Cole earned his bachelor’s degree in management from Hope College, where he helped lead the hockey team to an ACHA Division III national championship in 2018.
He and his wife, Lexi DeVos, reside in Orlando.
