Dalton DeVos is the director of marine strategies and growth for Continuum Ventures, a West Michigan-based investment firm.  Continuum invests in business, community and civic organizations seeking to make a positive and long-lasting impact.  The company’s marine ventures include Quantum Sails, Walstrom Marine, Grand Bay Marine and Algonac Harbour Club.

Dalton’s interest in boating started at an early age.  In 2008, he began competing in the Melges 32 fleet while still in high school and later added racing in the 52 Super Series, and the GL52 Class.  In 2015, Dalton launched an expedition to circumnavigate the world as part of a small crew.  The voyage took two years and touched approximately 30 countries.  Dalton is the youngest owner of a Nordhavn watercraft to make the 50,000-mile trip.

Dalton also is engaged in his family’s leadership of several DeVos family-owned ventures, including Wakestream Holdings.  As an investor, he seeks to invest in companies, such as Orb Aerospace, that bring innovation to the marketplace.

Motivated by his faith, Dalton and his wife, Kelly DeVos, care about the community and provide financial support to causes in education, entrepreneurship, and health and wellbeing.

Dalton earned a bachelor’s degree in business and marketing from Grand Valley State University.  He and Kelly live in Grand Rapids, Michigan.
