Melissa DeVos

Melissa DeVos is a philanthropist and active in leadership in several DeVos family-led ventures, including Wakestream Holdings and The Windquest Group. She and her husband, Rick DeVos, also operate their own foundation.

Driven by a desire to empower and connect others, Melissa and Rick provide support to causes in entrepreneurship, public policy and education. Melissa has served on the board at Journey Academy and is an active parent at the Michigan-based school. She is passionate about student-led education and helping kids discover a zest for learning.

Melissa attended the University of Michigan and graduated with a bachelor’s degree in architecture. While working in the field, she became a LEED-accredited professional.

Melissa’s most important role, however, is managing a busy household, with four creative kids, a dog, several chickens and an ever-expanding garden. She is a lifelong learner, interested in exploring new places, making new things and cultivating curiosity within her own family.
