For the second straight year Amway is the exclusive sponsor of the Global Wellness Summit Future of Wellness report. The alignment between Amway’s innovation strategy and the trends highlighted in this year’s report is striking.
February 5, 2026 – The Global Wellness SummitTM (GWS) has released its annual Future of Wellness report, a detailed forecast of what will make waves in health and wellness in the year ahead. Based on insights from hundreds of global health and wellness experts, the report identifies powerful themes that will redefine how individuals, communities and industries approach health in the coming decade.
The 2026 findings signal strong preference for a more human, inclusive and resilient vision of wellbeing over narrow health-related performance metrics and one-size-fits-all solutions. The trends reflect consumers’ desire for wellness that supports real life, not unrealistic ideals.
Amway chose to be the exclusive sponsor of the report again this year, and to maintain strong alliance with the GWS organization, because the learnings can help inform evidence-based innovation strategy, according to Amway Chief Marketing Officer Melodie Nakhle. “We remain committed to advancing credible, science-driven innovation that helps people lead better, more vibrant lives,” Nakhle said. “This research strengthens our ability to deliver meaningful solutions for communities around the world.”
Three of the trend themes particularly relate to Amway.
The Year of Women
This theme particularly aligns with Amway strengths and strategy. It reveals how industries designed around “one size fits all” biology and behavior are being reengineered to reflect women’s distinct health needs, life stages and economic power in 2026. “Women Get Their Own Lane in Longevity” highlights how the science of aging is shifting to women’s healthspan, recognizing female organs as a central driver of women’s aging and redefining diagnostics, prevention and intervention accordingly. Amway is years into the science of leveraging plants and making meaningful strides in supporting women’s wellbeing.
Longevity Expands in New Directions
Longevity is no longer confined to clinics and exclusive retreats. It is moving into daily life, the home, and entirely new sectors. As populations age, longevity will influence housing, beauty, technology and healthcare at scale, reshaping how long, how well and even where people live. A key part of this theme is “Skin Longevity Redefines Beauty.” It signals the end of “anti-aging” narratives, replacing them with regenerative skin science that merges biotech, AI, advanced diagnostics and next-generation active ingredients.
An Over-Optimization Pushback
Consumers are pushing back against hyper-tracked, high-pressure wellness models. Stressful “always-on” health technologies are giving way to experiences that honor what it truly means to be human: emotional, sensory, social, imperfect and pleasure-seeking.
This theme reflects a growing demand for wellness that feels nourishing rather than demanding. It validates pleasure, expression and human connection as vital to health – elements keenly recognized by Amway as essential to wellbeing. Music, movement, and creative gatherings are key community-based expressions in this theme. Personal expressions include things like “Fragrance Layering,” which reframes scent as a deeply personal, cultural, and creative language rather than a status symbol or uniform product.
The report also tracks trends related to the rise of “neurowellness,” psychological resilience in the face of today’s collective challenges and individuals’ responses to environmental impacts.
