Dr. Eric Ravussin is Associate Executive Director for Clinical Science and Director of the Nutrition Obesity Research Center at Pennington Biomedical.
Eric works in energy balance; metabolic and energy expenditure alterations in obesity and diabetes; genetics of obesity and diabetes; exercise physiology, energy expenditure, and translational research. He also conducts research on the impact of caloric restriction and intermittent fasting on biomarkers of aging.
Eric graduated from the University of Lausanne with a License in Sciences biochemistry, microbiology, human physiology and plant physiology. His PhD is in human physiology, also from the University of Lausanne.
