Dr. Kiyotaka Nakagawa is a Professor and Vice Dean for the Graduate School of Agricultural Sciences at Tohoku University in Japan. His work focuses on studying oxidative degradation in food products and the role of lipid peroxidation in the development of degenerative diseases in humans (i.e., atherosclerosis, hyperglycemia, dementia, and cancer).
His Ph. D is in Food Chemistry from Tohoku University.
