Cost of Starter Kit
There is no cost to starting an Amway Business.

Business Type

Retail Consultant (RC):
A Retail Consultant is allowed to recommend and promote Amway products to others for which they are eligible for a 25% Customer Volume Rebate. This is paid out weekly if the minimum amount to be paid is £10/€10 or more.  Additionally, a newly registered Retail Consultant will be permitted to be provisionally identified as the sponsor of a new ABO and have 30 days to complete the qualifying order and CRC Test. This is on the condition that a CRC together with the RC, identified as the sponsor, presents the business opportunity to the new ABO and that this information is entered in the New ABO Registration Process. Failure to complete the CRC requirements within 30 days will result in the RC becoming sponsor incapable. In order to obtain CRC qualification, a RC must, in a rolling 12 month period, have achieved an accumulated order total of £100/€125(inclusive of VAT), from five separate registered customers

Certified Retail Consultant (CRC):
A Certified Retail Consultant maintains the responsibility of an RC by supporting customers and receiving the Customer Volume Rebate in the same way. In addition, CRCs are eligible to sponsor others as ABOs and they can promote the Amway Business Opportunity. Building an effective team becomes an important part of this role and for this activity CRCs are entitled to additional Rewards and Awards through the Amway Sales and Marketing Plan. To be eligible for the Performance bonuses paid out through the Amway Sales and Marketing Plan a Certified Retail Consultant must have five ordering Registered Customers and £100/€125 (of retail sales inclusive of VAT) or more in Registered Customer orders in a month and be a minimum of 200 PV or 3%.

For international ABOs (#2 business owners) at the CRC level, to be eligible for the Performance bonuses, they can either 1) personally meet the customer volume requirement noted above or 2) have two legs where at least one person in each leg has met the personal customer volume requirement.

Note: ABOs in the Business Consultant category (Platinum and above) do not have to meet the personal customer volume requirement.

Business Consultant (BC):
The role of a BC is one of leadership and increasing income by supporting others within the group. There is no minimum Registered Customer volume requirement for a Business Consultant as his/her role is in training, mentoring and leading his/her group. The Business Consultant is eligible for all bonuses available under the Sales and Marketing Plan, as well as discretionary Rewards and Awards, based on established criteria and maintaining good standing. The Platinum qualification is the entry level into the BC category.

Marketing Advisor:
A status which allows European Platinum and above to sponsor and purchase products for personal consumption (except in Germany) in other Marketing Advisor Markets (MAM) without maintaining a formal, legal presence there while maintaining the same benefits of the Sales and Marketing plan as a multiple business. It does not provide for combining volumes between markets for purposes of bonus calculations. The RC/CRC/BC levels are also applicable to marketing advisor businesses.

Eligibility:
Platinum Pin and above in any of the markets listed below. Diamond Pin in any existing Amway market that has multiple businesses in any of the markets participating in the program.

Establish a Second Business

International Sponsoring
International sponsoring is always an option and an excellent means of expanding your business while avoiding many of the costs and complexities associated with establishing a second business. Please note: For those markets where foreigners are able to establish a second business, they must be the international sponsor of their second business in another country.

Establishment of a second business involves complex business and legal issues. Amway Business Owners should always contact the affiliate and obtain the advice of a local attorney and their local Embassy prior to attempting to establish a second business.

Business Entities
Amway Business Owners may establish a second business in the Republic of Ireland. The most common forms of Amway Business Owners are: Sole Proprietorship or Partnership. You should consult with a local attorney to identify the best business entity to accomplish your business goals.

Visa Requirements
Any foreigner intending to do business in the Republic of Ireland (except for nationals from the European Union Member States) must apply for a resident’s visa in your country of residence before traveling to the Republic of Ireland. You should obtain a general idea of the appropriate immigration requirements for your business purposes (including capitalization requirements). Laws relating to visa requirements are constantly changing. Amway Business Owners must consult experts in the country to obtain advice on appropriate immigration requirements. Consulting an expert is also important, if you do not intend to reside there.

Visiting students who are interested in the Amway Business Opportunity should be aware that it is not always necessary to be a citizen of a country in order to become an Amway Business Owner. However, foreign nationals, such as persons in the Republic of Ireland only for studies may have visas which do not permit them to be employed, or carry out a business. Most foreign students will be subject to such a restriction.

The Amway Customer Satisfaction Guarantee is applicable in the United Kingdom and the Republic of Ireland and is in addition to your statutory rights, which remain unaffected.

If the customer is not able to contact the Amway Business Owner, he may contact the ABO Service Department on +353 (0) 1562 1187.

Refund and Replacement Policy
Refunds claimed by ABOs on the return of products from customers under the Amway Customer Satisfaction Guarantee must be made by the ordering ABO. In order to ensure that the refunded product is credited to the correct ABO, a refund/replacement form together with the original product order invoice must accompany the returned products specifying ABO number, product(s) returned and the original order number(s) for each ABO making a return. Returns must be signed by the ABO who is claiming the refund.

All claims for returns and refunds must be received and processed by Amway no later than the 25th day of the month for inclusion in that month’s business. Refunds received after that date will be processed the following month. All returns should be sent via the normal Amway carrier. Any items to be returned should be properly packed, sealed and clearly addressed. Payment for refunds will be made by direct credit into the bank account we hold on file.

Refunds and Returns:
Should and ABO wish to return a product for different reasons other than what is stipulated under the Amway Customer Satisfaction Guarantee they can do so within ninety (90) days after date of purchase of the product. Amway will offer a refund on the full value (inclusive of VAT) of the product, less a 7.5% administrative handling and stocking charge, less any Performance bonuses and Customer Volume Rebate paid out on the product, less an amount equal to the diminution in value of the product due to act or default of the ABO. The ABO is responsible for returning the product to Amway via the normal Amway carrier.

A completed Refund/Replacement form is required and care should be taken to ensure that the items on the forms correspond with the items in the box with each box clearly labeled.

The refund policy, like the Amway Customer Satisfaction Guarantee, does not apply to non-AMWAY products.
