Bonus Payment
Bonuses will be paid directly to all Distributors who have earned the bonus. Bonus payments will be paid through Post Office transfer.

Prospective Distributors receive Sign up Kit free from sponsor.
In the Sign up Kit, one of the two legally required documents is included. Sponsoring distributors should always explain about the summary of Amway business to their prospective distributors using this document.
Prospective Distributor completes the application form and submits to Amway Japan attaching a transferring slip with the payment for registration fee.
After the completion of registration procedures at Amway Japan, an Identification Card and Welcome Kit, which is the other of the two legally required documents will be sent to the address on the application form in a few weeks.

A prospect can also register online via (web or mobile site), after receiving a Sign Up Kit for free and an explanation about the Amway Business Outline contained in the Kit from the sponsor. Once the online registration process is completed, a Distributor Number will be immediately issued. The prospect will pay 3,600 yen registration fee by cash on delivery when receiving a Welcome Kit and an ID Card at a later date. If the prospect chose credit card or Yahoo Wallet to pay 3,600 yen registration fee, Welcome Kit and ID Card will be sent by post.

Amway Shopping Member
Members will apply for the registration by phone, internet on your computer/mobile phone communications to Amway Japan.

Kit/Pack Fee

Sign up Kit for Distributors:
– 180 Yen (for paper-based and online registration)
– 150 Yen (for online registration)

Amway Catalog:
– 150 Yen

Registration Fee for Shopping Members:
– Free of charge

Registration Fee for Distributors:
Registration Fee of 3,600 Yen shall be applied at the discretion of Amway Japan G.K.

Business Type

Distributors with certain qualification may sponsor other distributors and members.

Retail products
Receive bonus and other benefits from their business activities.

Amway Shopping Member
– Can purchase products at a cost 10% higher than the Distributor cost
– Is not allowed to sponsor others
– Does not receive bonus, but the mileage point program is available.

Establish a Second Business

A foreign national who seeks to enter into Japan to engage in an Amway business must obtain the Alien Registration Card. When his/her status of residence is not to engage in an Amway business, he/she must apply to the Japanese Immigration Bureau for a permission to engage in activities other than that permitted for the granted status of residence.

The following Residency Status must be obtained:

1) Permanent Resident
2) Spouse of Japanese
3) Spouse of Permanent Resident
4) Stable Resident
5) Working Holiday Visa can register at Amway without permission to engage in activities other than that permitted for the gratned status of residence.

Products may be returned under the Return Rule.

The products with the return or exchange form are sent to the nearest Regional Distribution Center. After examination, money will be remitted to postal account or products will be sent as an exchange.

When Distributors want to resign their Distributorship, their sign-up fee can be refunded if they take an appropriate process before their Distributorship expires.

Receive Bonus Payment
Each Distributor is requested to have a postal account. Postal Account is a Trading Account designate for Amway Japan G.K. Application for Opening Postal Account (SKU: WHU-6).

Distributorship which allows you to receive bonus expires after a certain period. To maintain the Distributorship, please complete the renewal procedure once a year and pay the annual cost.

Expiration Date of Distributorship
Those who registered before December 2011:
December 31 every year
Those who registered after January 2012:
The last day of the registration month every year

Regular Renewal
– Annual Cost: 3,600 Yen
– Timing: From 3 months before the expiration to the last day of the expiration month

Late (When you fail to take the renewal procedure within the regular renewal period)
– Annual Cost: 4,110 Yen
– Renewal Timing: From the day following the expiration date to the end of the 3 months period

In case of failure to renew, no Distributor activities will be allowed.
The procedure of the Late Renewal can be taken only through an order (since January 1, 2013)
